A person has died following a two-vehicle crash on State Highway 2, just south of Pahiatua, on Thursday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 3pm. Despite their efforts, the driver of one of the vehicles died at the scene.
No other significant injuries were reported.
The Serious Crash Unit has completed a scene examination, and investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
