A 72-year-old man who died following a crash on the Wellington Motorway has been named as Alan Lindsay Ferguson of Lower Hutt.
The crash occurred on Saturday, 22 March. Police confirmed Ferguson, known to many as Lindsay, was the sole fatality in the incident.
“Our thoughts are with those close to him at this difficult time,” Police said in a statement.
An investigation into the circumstances of the crash is ongoing, with officers continuing to speak to those involved.
