A 14-year-old girl reported missing in Porirua has been located safe and well, police confirmed this afternoon.
Emily, who was last seen on the morning of Wednesday 28 August, sparked a community-wide search after failing to return home. Her disappearance prompted a public appeal for information and sightings.
Police Media, from the Police National Headquarters in Wellington confirmed that Emily had been found and is safe.
Police thanked the public for their assistance during the search.
