One person has died following a single-vehicle crash at the intersection of Paremata Road and State Highway 59 this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 1.15pm. Despite the efforts of first responders, the person died before they could be transported to hospital.
The road remains open, and authorities have not released further details at this stage.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
