Lord, make us the instruments of your peace
where there is hatred, let us sow love
where there is injury, pardon
where there is doubt, faith
where there is despair, hope
where there is darkness, light
where there is sadness, joy
and all the people said “AMEN”
At the end of the service these were the words of Blessing:
Blessed are the peacemakers for they are truly God’s children
and the blessing of God — – Yahweh, The Father, Allah
be with you. Let us go in peace.
Reverend Murray was awarded the ONZM for service to the community (2000) and appointed member of the Race Relations Sector Advisory Group of the NZ Human Rights Commission (2003).
