A driver was arrested after allegedly crashing into a parked car and rolling their vehicle on Moorefield Road in Johnsonville yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the crash, near the Johnsonville library, at about 5pm.
Police said the driver left the scene on foot but was arrested nearby.
Fire and Emergency crews from Johnsonville and Thorndon attended the two-vehicle crash, which blocked the road and disrupted traffic.
Police inquiries into the crash are continuing.
