Mana College has celebrated Asian Cultural Week with a programme of cultural activities involving students and staff.
The week began with a Sri Lankan flag-raising ceremony and included a daily Word of the Day, introducing students to words and phrases from a range of Asian languages.
Lunchtime activities included karaoke, Just Dance, henna and traditional Asian games.
The week finished with a Cultural Mufti Day, with students and staff wearing clothing representing their culture and heritage.
A shared cultural lunch was also held, with food from a range of cultures.
Mana College said the week was an opportunity to recognise the many Asian languages, cultures, traditions and communities represented at the school.
The school thanked students, staff and whānau who contributed food, ideas, knowledge and time to the celebrations.
