The northbound lanes of State Highway 1 through Transmission Gully have reopened after a vehicle fire near Wainui Saddle this morning.
Emergency services were called shortly after 8.20am, with crews responding from Porirua and Paraparaumu.
No injuries were reported.
The road reopened at 10.40am after being closed for about two hours.
