Dog-friendly retailer 4Paws Empire has taken out the People’s Choice Award at this year’s Love Local Expo, held on 7 June at Te Rauparaha Arena.
The popular event brought together over 100 local businesses and drew more than 4,000 attendees, who voted 4Paws Empire as their favourite booth or truck. The Mushroom House and Poi Creations were close runners-up.
Run by Glenna and Damon, 4Paws Empire operates from Kai Tahi and offers a range of high-quality, affordable products for dog lovers, including harnesses, leads, treats, and even ‘puppuccinos’. As a dog-friendly space, Kai Tahi allows customers to bring their pets in-store.
Now in its fifth year, Love Local continues to grow in size and popularity. The People’s Choice Award is decided by visitors who vote during the event using QR codes placed around the venue.
As part of their win, 4Paws Empire will receive additional promotion, including a professional photoshoot to highlight their success.
