The Wellington Phoenix women will face Adelaide United at Jerry Collins Stadium on Sunday, January 25, bringing professional women’s football and a full afternoon of family activities to Porirua.
Kick-off is scheduled for 4pm, with the Phoenix looking to secure three competition points on home turf.
Fans attending the match can expect more than football, with a range of activities planned around the ground. These include face painting, balloon twisting, a merry-go-round, an OPPO augmented reality photo experience and a carnival-style performance at halftime.
The club is encouraging supporters to bring friends and whānau, wear black and yellow, and help create a strong home atmosphere at the Porirua venue.
Hosting the fixture at Jerry Collins Stadium continues Porirua’s role as a venue for major sporting events and opportunities to see professional women’s sport played locally.
