Jahlia Laumua will compete in the Under-17 Youth division, while Brooke Chadwick and Ella Waihi have been named in the Under-19 Junior team. The tournament, hosted by Handball Cook Islands, runs from 13 to 17 October and serves as a qualifier for the Intercontinental Phase of the IHF Trophy.

The selection highlights the growing strength of handball in Porirua and marks a significant achievement for the three young athletes, who will compete against top teams from across the Pacific. Five nations are entered in the Youth division, and six will contest the Junior title.
