Porirua’s young voices are set to be heard on air following the official launch of the Porirua Voices Youth Podcast at Pātaka.

The launch event included an official welcome from Dr Taku Parai and featured podcast presentations from local students.

The podcast project has been produced with support from Amy, Brigid and Jonny from Wellington Access Radio 106.1FM and Immigration Time.

Students involved in the evening included Lauren and Blair from Aotea College, Joe and Lionel from Porirua College, and Carl, Gabe, Max and Maddison from Mana College.

Students from Te Kura Māori o Porirua were also involved in the project but were unable to attend the launch event.
