Postgate School students swapped their Porirua classrooms for Parliament this week during a visit hosted by Te Tai Hauāuru MP Debbie Ngarewa-Packer.
The school was one of two kura from the Te Tai Hauāuru electorate welcomed to Pāremata this week, with students from Te Korowai Whakamana, Ōtaki School visiting on Monday.

The Postgate School visit followed Ngarewa-Packer’s trip to the Porirua school in May.
Photos from Parliament show the students meeting with the MP, taking part in discussions and exploring areas of the parliamentary complex.
Ngarewa-Packer praised the students and acknowledged the work of their teachers, kura, whānau and wider community in supporting them.
“This place always feels better when you’re here,” she said.
