Aotea College has celebrated a strong finish to the Kapi-Mana netball season, with its teams taking first, second and third place in the Championship Division 1 grade.
The college’s Senior A team claimed the Division 1 title after a close final against Aotea Junior A on Saturday morning.
Senior A won 27-24, with the Junior A side pushing their senior counterparts through to the final whistle.
Aotea Senior B completed the college’s clean sweep of the top three placings, finishing third after beating Vixens II 41-23.
There was more success for Aotea College in other grades.
Aotea Junior Navy won the Championship 2 final with a 32-25 victory over Whitby Collegiate Junior A.
Aotea Junior Yellow also took out the Championship Reserve 1 final, beating fellow Aotea side Junior Orange 24-15.
The results capped off a successful season for Aotea College’s netball programme, with the college congratulating all of its teams on their efforts throughout the year.
