Porirua will host one of the biggest wrestling events Wellington has seen in decades when All Star Wrestling: Porirua takes over Te Rauparaha Arena on Saturday 11 October.
Presented by Fix-It Fitzy, the event brings together top wrestling talent from New Zealand, Samoa, Italy and the United Kingdom, alongside cultural performances and live entertainment, making it more than just a sports show.
The card features Porirua’s own talent on home ground, including hometown hero D-Hoya from Cannons Creek in the Fatal Four Way main event, and Kyuss, known as Porirua’s “Rockstar,” making his local debut in a championship clash. They will face off against some of the country’s biggest names, including reigning All Star Wrestling Champion Jade Priest and Samoa’s Jamie Tagataese, who remains undefeated in Porirua.

Another highlight is the Wellington Heritage Championship, with Pauly Spitfire, returning to Porirua after eight years, defending his title against former WWE NXT UK star Ringo Ryan.
The show also celebrates community and culture, with a live performance from kapa haka group Te Ahi a Tahurangi, well known from Te Matatini, and DJ Gooda, former New Zealand DMC Champion, keeping the energy high before and during the event.

Organisers say the night promises an unforgettable mix of sport, entertainment and culture. “This is more than a wrestling show – it’s an event for Porirua,” they said.
Doors open at 5pm with the show starting at 6pm. Tickets are available now at: https://tickets.ticketspace.co.nz/tickets/allstarsporirua
