Porirua families invited to Brandon Intermediate open evening

Brandon Intermediate is inviting Porirua families to visit the Cannons Creek school during its open evening for future Year 7 students and whānau.

Brandon Intermediate is inviting future Year 7 students and their whānau to explore the Cannons Creek school at its open evening on Thursday, August 13.

The event starts at 5pm in the school hall at 32 Driver Crescent.

Families considering Brandon Intermediate for 2027 will be able to tour the kura, visit its technology classrooms and speak with current students and teachers.

The school offers learning and activities across sport, the arts, reading, writing, mathematics, technology, music, outdoor education and multicultural performing arts.

Brandon Intermediate principal Selina Ede said raising student achievement was the school’s main task, supported by strong partnerships with whānau.

The school’s values are purpose, resilience, integrity, determination and empathy.
