Porirua residents looking to welcome the New Year with live music are being invited to a free New Year’s Eve event at the Porirua Club.
The celebration runs from 8pm on Tuesday, December 31, through to 12.30am at the club’s Lodge Place premises and will feature live entertainment from Stash Band.
The band is well known on the local circuit and is expected to deliver a mix of dancefloor favourites to take partygoers through to midnight.
The Porirua Club says entry to the event is free, with members encouraged to bring friends along to celebrate the end of the year together.
The club has a long history of hosting New Year’s Eve events and says live music remains a popular way for the local community to mark the occasion.
