Porirua rugby fans heading to the Hurricanes’ Super Rugby Pacific qualifying final against the ACT Brumbies will have extra trains available after the match on Friday night.
The game kicks off at 7.05pm on 5 June at Hnry Stadium.
Metlink says extra post-match trains will run on the Kāpiti line. Services before the game will follow the normal weekday timetable, and fans are advised to travel early.
Some core bus routes will also have more capacity after the match, with larger buses in use.
Public transport fares are not included in game tickets, and standard weekday fares apply.
Fans can use Snapper cards or full-fare adult contactless payments with Visa or Mastercard on Metlink buses and trains.
Passengers should tag on and off using the same card or device.
Supporters are advised to check the Metlink app or website before travelling, or call 0800 801 700.
